Marc Pijpops
After studying viola at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I took my first Alexander Technique lessons with Christel Bobine. Due to my growing fascination with the Alexander Technique, I eventually decided to become an AT teacher.
I completed my training at the Alexander Technique Center Amsterdam with Paul Versteeg and Tessa Marwick, where I regularly teach as a guest teacher. Since 2015 I have a practice in Antwerp and regularly give workshops for Musical Encounters, music academy Fiocco, the European Union and the! Arts Humanities. I also regularly participate in the international AT congresses.
Because of my background as a musician, I find it particularly fascinating to work with musicians. I continue to be impressed by the pragmatic approach of the Alexander Technique, and it gives me great satisfaction to see people evolve into an easier, more natural way of moving.
