Lieve Hermans
Lieve Hermans has a degree in physical education and from there develops, after working with many dance teachers, a personal style (based on instant composition and release technique).
Later she studies the F.M.Alexandertechnique with Elisabeth Langford and Eliane Lefebvre and is graduated in 1997.
Apart from her private practice she teaches dance and movement based on the Alexandertechnique to children and adults in schools, hospitals, dance and theatercompanies.
She dances in performances for the little ones (‘Teatro Auraco’,Finland, ‘Theatre de la Guimbarde’ and ‘La bulle a son”,Belgium).
She teaches dance and Alexandertechnique at Luca-Arts-campus Leuven and ‘l’école de cirque’ in Brussels.
In her teaching she brings the importance of the active and conscious body in all activities, whether it is in daily life or more specific towards dance, acting, circus and…other.
