Eveline Esser

I started taking piano lessons with my mother when I was barely 4 years old. However, my true calling was the violin and at the age of twelve I started taking violin lessons.

After a few years I started to experience unnecessary tension in my neck, shoulders and back.

During my search for solutions to this problem I met Mrs. Crissman Taylor, teacher of the Alexander technique and affiliated with the Conservatory in Utrecht.

With her 'Artist in Balance Institute' she developed a comprehensive approach to improve the health and well-being of performing artists.

This meeting convinced me to follow the three-year teacher training course at the ATA school (Alexander Academy). During this training I gained many new useful insights into physical functioning.

Since September 2017, I have mainly been teaching individual Alexander technique lessons in Dutch and English.
