Christine Hengen

From my very first Alexander Technique lesson, I was completely amazed by the quality of my teacher Hazel Carrie's touch. According to her, acquiring this touch was part of the Alexander Technique teacher training course.
I was a physiotherapy student at the time and decided that day that I would one day take the training course.

I graduated in physiotherapy and rehabilitation in 2007 and in the Alexander Technique in 2011.

Today, I work mainly as a self-employed physiotherapist, with additional training in rheumatology, chronic pain, musculoskeletal disorders, Parkinson's disease and geriatrics.

I continue to teach the Alexander Technique because it is a valuable tool for working on movement in all its depth, giving it quality, grounding, stability, freedom and presence.

I love movement in all its aspects, for its functional side in everyday life, but also for its beauty and expressiveness in the performing arts, its power in sport, and its precision in the practice of a craft or musical instrument. Movement develops us as beings, and the Alexander Technique can support this development.

I teach in French, English, German and Luxemburgish.
